To provide relief from the heat for the homeless this weekend, a cooling station will be set up and available at Sun Terrace, 1550 N.W. 11th St., in Hermiston.
Water and a cool place to rest will be available during the station’s hours, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, June 29-30. Temperatures are expected to reach the mid-90s or higher this weekend.
