The Hermiston City Council began annexation of a piece of property on N.E. Second Street Monday night.
The annexation request came from Clyde Nobles, who wants to build a single-family dwelling on a 0.16-acre parcel at 1855. N.E. Second St. The annexation will allow the property, which will receive an R-4 zoning designation, to be connected to municipal sewer service.
Hearing will be held before the Hermiston Planning Commission on March 11 and again before the Hermiston City Council on March 23.
