A couple from Ukiah were killed Christmas Day in a single-vehicle crash, according to the Oregon State Police (OSP).
On Friday, at approximately 3:06 p.m., OSP troopers and emergency personnel responded to a report of a crash on Highway 395B near milepost 53.
According to the OSP, a Ford Ranger pickup, operated by James Stroud, 83, of Ukiah, was northbound when it traveled off the roadway and rolled.
Stroud and his passenger, Linda Stroud,79, both sustained fatal injuries and were pronounced dead at the scene.
OSP was assisted by the Ukiah Quick Response Medics, the Umatilla County Sheriff’s Office and the Oregon Department of Transportation.
