The Oregon Department of Transportation is reporting that the westbound lanes of Interstate 84 is closed about 15 miles east of Pendleton due to a crash at milepost 224.
The report was made by ODOT around 1:20 p.m.
Details of the accident aren’t yet available, but travelers are advised to use alternate routes or wait in La Grande (Exits 261 and 265) until the westbound lanes are open.
