The Umatilla County Fire District No. 1 was dispatched just before noon on Tuesday to a house fire on Rosenberg Road in Echo.
Echo Fire Department, along with the help of a bystander, knocked down the fire before UCFD No. 1 arrived on scene. UCFD No. 1 crews threw a ladder and used a chainsaw to ventilate the side of the house.
No injuries were reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
