The Dakota Brown Band will perform for the Music in the Parks free outdoor summer concert series tonight at 7 p.m. at the Irrigon Marina Park, located off Highway 730 in Irrigon.
The Pendleton band is made up of band members Dakota Brown, Luke Basile, Frazer Wambeke, Tim Coronado, and Chris Newbury. In June of 2011, Dakota Brown Band recorded and released their EP titled “Find Your Way,” which proved to be a strong first release for the group. A new full-length studio release is currently under way with three-time Grammy nominated producer Brook Floyd. The band recently traveled to Hawaii to film a music video for their single, “How Far We Can Go.” With their mix of pop and soul, Brown and his mates continue to play throughout the Pacific Northwest.
