Daniel Ray Jacques of Hermiston passed away at his home in Hermiston after a long illness on Jan. 15, 2024 at the age of 66.
He was born on Oct. 13, 1957 in Pendleton to William and Suzette Holeman Jacques.
Daniel grew up and attended schools in Hermiston. He lived in Hermiston his entire life and worked as a handyman doing various jobs for many people: installing irrigation pivots, rewinding motors, cleaning and doing maintenance on airplanes and other maintenance jobs. He had many friends in the area and will be missed.
He is survived by a sister, Kathy (Richard) Mikel; brother, Jim (Jeanette) Jacques; and seven nieces and nephews, Jeff, Julie, Todd, Stacy, Ray, Vanessa and Nick.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William C. Jacques and Suzette M. Jacques; and a brother, Tom Jacques.
