Darrell A. Foley died on June 20, 2013 at his home in Hermiston at the age of 45.

He was born on Oct. 20, 1967 in Fargo, N.D., to Jerry G. Foley Sr. and Opal LaVonne Smith Foley. Darrell was raised in Hermiston and attended Sunset and Rocky Heights Elementary Schools and Armand Larive Middle School in Hermiston. Darrell also attended High School in Cove, and Salem. Darrell enjoyed music, martial arts, fast cars, and time with his family.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry Foley Sr., Hermiston and, LaVonne DuBois and her husband Don, Hermiston; son, Devin Patrick, Hermiston; brothers, Jerry Foley Jr, Jeff Foley and Chris Foley, all of Hermiston; a granddaughter, Aria Patrick; aunts, Anna Lee McBride, Boardman, Mary Blomberg, Fargo, N.D., and Darlene Irion, Wahpeton, N.D.; uncle, Ken Smith, Tooele, Utah; cousins, Lori Carey and Dee, Robert Paris and Melissa, Ken Paris, Wendy Paris, Crystal Carman, Brian Carman, Tami Marti, Scott McBride, Brian Hansen, Jerry Waldron, Danielle Smith, Kenny Wayne Smith, LeAnn Chevalier, Marcia Coste, Chad Sparrow and numerous other, cousins, nieces and nephews.
 
Darrell was preceded in death by his grandparents, Hector Smith, Opal Olese and Gladys Foley; and his aunt, Billie Carman; and cousin, Dean Gylten.
 
A celebration of life service was held on Thursday, June 27, 2013 at New Hope Community Church, Hermiston.
 
Burial followed at the Hermiston Cemetery, Hermiston.
