David Ray “Dave” Green died on April 8, 2018 at his home in Hermiston at the age of 70.
He was born on June 16, 1947 in Pendleton to Don and Wanda Ebert Green.
Dave served in the United States Navy during Vietnam until his honorable discharge in 1974. He worked as a truck driver and at Ace Hardware in Hermiston for many years. Dave was united in marriage to Susan A. Green on May 16, 1987 in Hermiston. He was a member of the Hermiston Christian Center. Dave loved to fish for salmon and steelhead. He enjoyed going on road trips to new places, being with friends and staying busy.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Green, Hermiston; sons, Brian Green, Richland, Wash. and Steven Green, Pasco, Wash.; daughter, Lisa Powell, Hermiston; grandchildren, Cody, Mason, Spencer, Shelbee and Gabriel; aunt, Georgie Ebert; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Dave was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Jerry Green.
A celebration of life service with military honors will be held on Saturday, April 28, 2018 at 10 a.m. at the Hermiston Christian Center, 1825 W. Highland Ave.
