The deadline is looming for a pair of dance camps offered by Hermiston Parks and Recreation Department.
The parks department is offering a camp for 3 to 4 year olds, as well as one for kids ages 5 to 6 years and 11 months. Both camps run from July 7-10 at the Hermiston Conference Center and the deadline to register is Thursday, July 3. The camp for the younger children takes place from 3 to 3:30 p.m. and costs $30 for residents and $38 for non-residents. The camp for older participants goes from 3:45 to 4:30 p.m. and costs $35 for residents and $44 for non-residents.
Both camps will teach basic dance techniques and participants will learn a routine that will be performed during the Hermiston FunFest on July 12.
