The deadline to register for the Boardman Chamber of Commerce Business Training and Development Seminar taking place on Jan. 25 is this coming Monday, Jan. 8. The seminar will be presented by Paul Hutter of HR Answers, Inc. at the Port of Morrow Riverfront Center.
You and your employees may attend at one low cost and may choose a half day or the full day during this two-session seminar. You also may choose to send a few employees to the morning session and a different group of employees to the afternoon session. The costs for half the day are $200 for chamber members and $250 for non-members. Full-day attendance costs $300 for members and $350 for non-members.
The morning session will cover health care updates, marijuana in the workplace, and Oregon overtime rulings for manufacturers. The afternoon session will focus on motivating and retaining your employees.
