Quilting enthusiasts will want to mark their calendar for Oct. 11-12 for the 16th annual Boardman Quilt Show.
The show is from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Boardman Senior Center, 100 Tatone Street in Boardman. The cost of admission is $5. Children 12 and under get in for free.
The featured quilter this year is longtime Boardman Quilt Club member Myrtle Thompson. Raffle prizes will be held around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 12. Tickets can be purchased at the Harvest Festival on Oct. 5 at the SAGE Center as well as at the quilt show.
The show is open to quilters of all ages. Quilts entered may be heritage family quilts or made by the exhibitor. To enter, call Lila Killingbeck at 541-571-2576 prior to Oct. 1.
