Deborah L. “Debbie” Roberts died on Nov. 5, 2019 at her home in Irrigon at the age of 66.
She was born on March 14, 1953 in Phoenix, Ariz. to Robert and Rose Powell Mills.
Debbie and Kenny Roberts have been together since 1978, and on May 21, 1994 they married in Reno, Nev. She worked at Lamb Weston in Boardman for 40 years before retiring to spend time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed making crafts and baking with her grandchildren, sewing baby blankets for all of her grandkids, and cherished family get-togethers and holidays at their home.
She is survived by her husband, Kenny Roberts; daughter, Jeannie Bowman and her husband Eric; sons, James Roberts and his wife Cindy, Jeremy Roberts and his wife Tiffany, and her nephew that she raised as a son, Mark Mills and his wife Tonya; brothers, Tommy and Ronald Mills; sisters, Cheryl Moore, Elizabeth Dunn-Crispen and Marla Cabral; grandchildren (aka The Replacements), Jackie Bulow (Jake), Emily Groves (Vonnie), Johnathan Roberts, Brenna Bowman (Ryan Reynolds), Madison Bowman, Grace Roberts, Malakai Gonzalez, Kaleb Nielson, Kaden Nielson, Hunter Bowman and Gage Bowman; great grandchildren, The Moon Pies – Adalynn and Sawyer Bulow and The Cupcake – Jade Reynolds; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Debbie was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Donald and Keith Mills.
A celebration of life service was held on Saturday, Nov. 16, 2019 at Burns Mortuary Chapel, Hermiston.
A private family burial was held at Desert Lawn Memorial Cemetery.
