The Desert Arts Council will offer a series of free art activities for children at McKenzie Park over the next five Saturdays.
Beginning Saturday, May 30, art instructor Laurie Ellis will teach kids ages 6-17 fun and educational art projects. All supplies will be provided. This Saturday, children will be making their own art journal. The session lasts from 9 a.m. to noon.
Funding for the series was provided, in part, by the Miller Foundation and the Oregon Arts Commission.
