Desert Lanes Family Fun Center, 1545 N. First St. in Hermiston, is celebrating National Bowling Day a week early this year, in conjunction with the Hermiston Junior Bowlers parking lot sale on Saturday, Aug. 6.
The National Bowling Day event goes from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with three free 1 1/2-hour family bowling sessions to choose from. Reservations are required, and shoe rental is not included.
The parking lot sale goes from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Space rental is $25, with all rent proceeds going toward local junior scholarship programs. To reserve a space, make bowling reservations or ask questions, call 541-567-6364 or 541-571-6079.
