Motorists will have to pay attention when approaching the Diagonal Road-N.E. 10th Street intersection – it is now a four-way stop.
The city of Hermiston added the four-way stop to create safer roads between housing and nearby schools, as well as to accommodate in-progress residential development on Diagonal Road. The conversion was completed before the start of the school year to give motorists time to adjust to the changes before school day traffic increases.
Great idea. Now how about doing that on Elm & 10th!
