Dianna Lynn Chaney Ellis passed away peacefully on June 21, 2023 in Hermiston surrounded by her four children at the age of 72.
She was born on Dec. 18, 1950 in Walla Walla, Wash. to Marvin and Maurine Gilbert Sparks.
Dianna was a lifelong Fraternal Order of Eagles #26 member. She enjoyed camping, fishing, traveling, crocheting, knitting, crafts and selling things at bazaars. Dianna was a collector of all things who cherished spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Vicki Peck (Mike), Anthony Chaney (Danielle), Margrete Carlson (Allen) and Joseph Chaney (Tiffanie); grandchildren, Shayla, Isaac, Cody, A.J., Zaid, Alayna, Katherine, Lynda, Jacob, Justin, Brandyn and Kayla; and great grandchildren, Allyiah, Camryn, Evelyn, Lorelai, Naomi and Desmond.
Dianna was preceded in death by her husband, Gary Ellis; a sister, Amy Harrington; and her parents.
A family celebration will be held.
