Student registration for the 2014-15 school year opens soon for the Hermiston School District.
Parents or guardians enrolling new students to the district are encouraged to provide a record of the student’s birth (i.e. birth certificate, baptismal certificate, or passport), a previous report card or high school transcript if available, and are required to present proof of residence/physical address and immunization records.
Elementary Registration
The district is holding elementary new student registration from Monday, Aug. 4 through Friday, Aug. 8 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the individual buildings. Previously enrolled elementary students returning to the district this fall are not required to register. However, if parent/guardian contact information has changed (e.g. address, phone, emergency contact, email), please contact your student’s school to provide updated information.
Middle School Registration
Middle school registration, required for both returning and new students, will be held at the respective middle school buildings. Armand Larive Middle School registration will be held on Monday, Aug. 11, from 1 to 7 p.m., and Tuesday from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sandstone Middle School registration will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 1 to 7 p.m., and Thursday, Aug 14 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Students new to the district are encouraged to complete preliminary enrollment paperwork Aug. 4-7 in order to expedite the registration process the following week. Fees may be paid onsite by credit card, check, or cash.
High School and Hermiston Online School Registration
Registration for all Hermiston High School, required for both returning and new students, will take place the week of Aug. 11-15. Seniors are invited to register Monday, Aug. 11. Students entering their junior year can register Tuesday, Aug. 12 and incoming sophomores will register Wednesday, Aug. 13. Incoming freshman can register Thursday, Aug. 14. Families may register their students anytime from 3 to 8 p.m. on these days. New students to the district entering ninth through 12th grades, Hermiston Online students, as well as those who were unable to register prior, are asked to report to Hermiston High School on Friday, Aug. 15 between the hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Families with students attending different grades may select the registration date that best fits their schedule. Fees may be paid onsite by credit card, check, or cash.
