The Hermiston School District will hold a community celebration this week to recognize the Hermiston High School football team and its 5A football state championship.
The event will be Wednesday, Dec. 3, in the HHS purple gym at 6:30 p.m. Community members and Bulldog supporters are invited to help celebrate the team with guest speakers, a video highlight reel of the season, and dessert.
The Bulldogs capped off a 12-1 season with a 34-12 victory over the previously unbeaten Silverton Foxes on Saturday to claim the school’s first-ever state football title.
