The Hermiston School District will host a wellness event at Hermiston High School on Aug. 1, in the school’s gymnasium, from 2-6 p.m.
Students in grades 6-12 are encouraged to drop in between 2-6 p.m. to obtain their sports physical, vision, and dental screenings, and enroll in the Oregon Health Plan. A parent or guardian must accompany students under 15 years old. Insurance information will be taken but no student will be turned away for not having health insurance.
This event is made possible thanks to a partnership between Advantage Dental, Columbia River Health, Eastern Oregon Coordinated Care Organization, Lifetime Vision Source, Oregon State University Extension Service, Umatilla County Health, and Umatilla-Morrow Head Start, Inc.
