Douglas L. “Doug” Walker of Hermiston died on Dec. 7, 2024 in Hermiston at the age of 81.
He was born on Jan. 25, 1943 in Farmington, Wis.
Douglas Walker was in the U.S. Army from 1960 to 1961. Doug served as the chief of the Adams Volunteer Fire Department in Adams in the early 1990s. He was a member of the Weston McEwen Lions Club approximately between 2010 and 2012.
Doug is survived by his daughters, Tammy Walker and Vicki White; his grandchildren, Kyle, Daniel, and Nicole; and two great-grandchildren, Jasper and Sapphira.
Doug was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Walker, as well as his parents, sister, and brothers.
