Doyle C. Hartwell of Hermiston went home to be with the Lord on March 3, 2022 in Hermiston at the age of 72.
He was born March 9, 1949 in Tulare, Calif., to William and Nona Mae (Hamby) Hartwell.
Doyle enjoyed listening to classic rock and gospel music and watching old western movies. He also enjoyed watching his only grandson participate in Special Olympics.
He is survived by his daughter, Nona Hartwell of Umatilla; grandson, Kyle of Umatilla; sisters, Sharon Norton of Salem and Laverne Golden of Arkansas; brothers, Jerry Hartwell of Arkansas and Baron Hartwell of Oregon; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers and one sister.
At his request no services will be planned. Burns Mortuary of Hermiston is in care of arrangements.
