The Oregon State Police are investigating a fatal accident in Umatilla County early this morning that resulted in the death of a 22-year-old man.
According to the OSP, the accident occurred around 2 a.m. along Highway 332 west of Milton-Freewater. A pick-up truck driven by the man was traveling westbound on the Umapine Highway when it went off the road while negotiating a curve at Triangle Station Road. The pickup rolled onto a field and landed on its top.
The driver, who was wearing a seat belt, was pronounced dead at the scene. The OSP will release more details later today.
