A Klamath County grand jury has indicted the driver in a crash that killed two people last month, including Hermiston resident Garrett Zimmer.

The Oregon State Police is reporting that 22-year-old Gauge Lee Gray of Klamath Falls was charged with manslaughter and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

According to the OSP, Gray was driving a red pickup that struck a lamp post on Dec. 28 after leaving Highway 140 near Klamath Falls. The pickup then rolled into a pasture.

Two passengers — 26-year-old Marri Young of Eagle Point and 22-year-old Garrett and Zimmer — died after being ejected from the vehicle.
