The 48th annual Hermiston Chamber of Commerce Distinguished Citizens Awards Banquet will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 21 a the Hermiston Community Center.
With the help of sponsor ISU The Stratton Agency, the chamber will roll out the red carpet to honor community members who have worked toward the betterment and success of the Greater Hermiston area.
“We are fortunate to live in a community where people really care and are willing to get involved,” said Chamber President Debbie Pedro. “I believe that it is the people that make Hermiston such a great place to live, work and invest in our community as so many people have and are.”
Award categories for the night will be: Hermiston Chamber of Commerce Man of the Year, sponsored by Hermiston Realty; Woman of the Year, sponsored by O So Kleen; Bob Severson Rotary Business of the Year presented by Hermiston Rotary Club; Chamber of Commerce Award of Merit sponsored by Greg Smith; the Hermiston Altrusan’s Outstanding Young Citizen Award; the Hermiston School District Educators, Administrator and District Administrator of the Year; and Fire Service Award. The master of ceremonies for the evening will be Bryan Wolfe.
The banquet will be held at the Hermiston Conference Center located at 415 S Hwy 395. This year’s dinner will be catered by CG Public House as well as the no-host bar by Midway Bar and Grill.
