E. Oregon Forum to Highlight Post-Pandemic Mental Health

Three local professionals will share perspectives on “Rural Post-Pandemic Mental Health” during the upcoming Eastern Oregon Forum.

The presenters include Charles Byram, chief of the Pendleton Police Department; Julie Smith, director of Special Programs at the Pendleton School District; and Emily Arnold, a licensed clinical social worker at the Eastern Oregon Trauma Center.

The final forum of the 2023-24 series is Tuesday, March 12, 7 p.m. in ST-200 at Blue Mountain Community College, 2411 NW Carden Ave., Pendleton. The cost is $5 at the door; admission is free for students.

The EO Forum is a collaborative effort between BMCC, the InterMountain Education Service District, the East Oregonian and the American Association of University Women. In addition, Harriet Isom, a former United States ambassador, serves on the committee.
