The Pendleton chapter of the Oregon Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation is hosting Eastern Oregon Youth Outdoor Skills Day this Saturday, Feb. 8 at the Pendleton Convention Center, 1601 Westgate.
In its third year, the free event offers hands-on activities for kids and informational seminars. There will be lots of prizes for the kids, including the grand prize of a 6.5 Creedmoor rifle/scope combo.
