Castle Rock Apartments in Boardman will be the site of an Earth Day celebration on Saturday, April 20.
The event, which takes place from 1 to 3 p.m., is open to the public and geared toward children ages 8-13.
It will include free educational activities demonstrating to kids how to save energy and use renewable energy. Activities will take place under the gazebo on the lawn by the Castle Rock offices, 451 Tatone St.
The event is sponsored by the U.S. Department of Agriculture, the Umatilla County Housing Authority and CASA of Oregon.
