The Eastern Oregon Women’s Coalition and the sponsors of the 2021 Eastern Oregon Economic Summit are rescheduling the event for Oct. 7-8 at Hermiston High School.

The Eastern Oregon Economic Summit is a large indoor event, and organizers have been closely following the recent increase of COVID-19 cases in Oregon. Out of an abundance of caution and to accommodate better engagement with all Summit attendees, it was decided to move the event to early fall.

The event was originally scheduled for Aug. 19-20.

No significant changes are expected for the event. The two-day event is an opportunity for private and public sector leaders from throughout Oregon to learn about the growth and potential of Eastern Oregon’s economy. Speakers include industry experts and state and federal lawmakers.

The summit features field and industry tours, general session speakers, and breakout panels focused on federal and state legislative updates, programs, economic trends, and more.

All tickets for the event, including field and industry tours, will be automatically transferred to the new dates on October 7-8. Anyone needing to revise their tickets, should email easternoregonsummit@gmail.com.

If you made a reservation at the Holiday Inn Express using the Eastern Oregon Economic Summit discount code, your reservation will be automatically transferred to the new dates. Your confirmation number will remain the same and changes are expected to be completed within the week. If you made hotel accommodations at any other hotel, you would need to contact them directly to adjust your reservations.

More information on the event can be found online.
