The city of Echo will host a reception on July 14 to welcome the America in Bloom judges, as well as commemorate the Echo Public Library’s 100th anniversary.
The reception will take place at 2 p.m. in the auditorium on the second floor of Echo City Hall. Refreshments will be served and there will be centennial-related activities.
The city will also be collecting items for a time capsule and are encouraging residents to contribute photos, news articles and other appropriate items. During the reception, there will be displays representing 1914 and the early 1910s.
