The city of Echo will be scaring up some fun on Saturday with its Scarecrows on Main event.
Residents are encouraged to register and build a scarecrow. Cash prizes will be given out to the top scarcrows. Entry forms can be found online.
All scarecrows need to be ready by 11 a.m. on Saturday for judging. The check-in point is at Gathered Over Time, 210 W. Main St. Prizes will be awarded at 2 p.m.
The Garden Club will be serving cookies and apple cider and the Echo Community Church is having a free ice cream social at 1 p.m.
