Puncture vine season is here and the city of Echo is putting on bounty on those goatheads.
The city will pay $1 for each small grocery-size sack of puncture vines turned into Echo City Hall or $5 for a five-gallon bucket full of vines. A voucher will be issued for each bag and paid out in increments of $25. The bounty will be paid out until the city’s $350 budget is maxed out.
