The city of Echo is holding their Annual Clean-Up Day on Saturday, April 22.
Dumpsters will be placed around town for Echo residents to fill with trash and then removed free of charge. Residents unable to remove their own yard debris or trash can call the city clerk at 541-376-6038 for pick-up (the deadline to call is April 20). The city is also prioritizing common areas in need of yard work.
Volunteers for both equipment operation and labor are welcome. They’ll meet at 7:30 a.m. in front of H & P Cafe, 231 W. Main St., to sign in and receive assignments. Bring gloves and any necessary yard tools, marked with identification. For more information, call Michael Duffy at 541-303-5730.
