Edwin Arnold Himmerich of Stanfield passed away in Richland, Wash. on Nov. 7, 2022 at the age of 86.
He was born on Dec. 2, 1935 in Napoleon, N.D. to Phillip and Christina Everding Himmerich.
Edwin grew up in North Dakota, where he received his education. After high school, he served in the U.S. Army for a term. After his honorable discharge, he began his career as a crane operator installing high line power lines for Job Line Construction. He retired around 2000. He moved to Stanfield in 1980, where he had resided for 42 years.
Edwin enjoyed many outdoor activities such as boating, jet skiing and snowmobiling. He also had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying.
He is survived by a son, Edwin Phillip Himmerich of Stanfield; daughter, Amy Himmerich Miller; two granddaughters; and sister, DeLila Everson.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Yvonne on Feb. 28, 2001.
