Umatilla County Commissioner Bill Elfering will not be in his Hermiston office on Thursday, but will be back the following week with expanded office hours.
Beginning Jan. 23, Elfering will hold office hours at the Stafford Hansell Government Center from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. To make an appointment, people should call office assistant Israel Agosto at 541-667-3001.
