Pastor Elijah Waters will speak at the Living Faith Church, 1611 Diagonal Boulevard, Hermiston, at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, July 17.
The event is open to the public.
Elijah Waters, a frequent visitor to Hermiston’s Campus Life, married Annemarie in 1999 and they became youth pastors in Richland, Wash., where they pastored a youth ministry of 30 students and multiplied it to more than 400 young people.
In 2007 they moved to Kirkland, Wash., and became the associate youth pastors at Generation Church, the youth ministry of The City Church, alongside Pastors Judah and Chelsea Smith.
In May 2009, Pastors Elijah and Annemarie were passed the baton of Generation Church and became the lead youth pastors. Generation Church ministers to more than 1,500 students weekly in the Seattle area. Elijah and Annemarie currently reside in Kirkland with their four children Esther, Ellie, Ethan, and Ezekiel.
