ZRF Partners, a private equity firm, announced the formation of Blue Mountain Networks to deploy fiber optic networks in the Pacific Northwest.
Blue Mountain Networks combined the operations of Hermiston-based Eastern Oregon Telecom and Hood River-based Gorge Networks to accelerate expansion of fiber technology to residential and small business customers. The company provides high-speed internet, voice and data services to residential and business customers in 29 communities in Oregon and Washington.
“The combined resources represented in Blue Mountain Networks will allow us to reach more rural communities with ultra-high-speed internet service at a much faster pace than we could have otherwise,” Joe Franell told Northeast Oregon Now. “This is exciting news.”
Franell is the president of Blue Mountain Networks and Eastern Oregon Telecom.
