Boardman-area residents will hear detonations and may feel ground vibrations Monday during demolitions at the Naval training facility.
On Monday, during daylight hours the Navy Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) Mobile Unit 11 Detachment Northwest will conduct a demolition disposal at Naval Weapons System Training Facility (NWSTF).
The demolition activity will occur in the central section of the NWSTF property. Dust clouds, smoke, audible detonations and ground vibration may result from these operations. Safety and enhanced fire prevention precautions have been taken to ensure operations pose no threat to people or property.
