At the end of the fifth and final day at the Umatilla County Fair, Frank Rendon of Wool Busters awarded a Montana Silver Belt Buckle to the Muttin Bustin event champion Cole Nickerson of Kennewick, Wash.
To qualify for the championship round, each rider had to have the high score of each day of the fair, and each individual had to weigh no more than 55 pounds to be able to participate.
Runners up were Dale Krebs Jr. of Hermiston, Zain Gomez of Hermiston and Nathan Waelty of Hermiston, who each won trophies.
