Fair Holding Camp Logo Contest

The Umatilla County Fair Board is holding a logo contest for the counties’ elementary school students in grades K-5.

Youths will be asked to create a logo for the Fair Day Camp t-shirts and related material. The fair theme for 2015 is “100 Years, What a Ride.” The winning artwork will accompany the theme to brand this year’s Fun at the Fair Day Camp. The winning design will be decided by the Umatilla County Fair Board. In addition to countywide recognition, the winner will receive two adult day passes, four children day passes, one Fun at the Fair Day Camp T-shirt and one carnival wristband (good for one day of rides) for the 2015 Umatilla County Fair.

Contest Rules
• Logo submissions will only be accepted from K-5 students enrolled at Umatilla County schools (or online school but residing in Umatilla County).
• Submissions are due by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 10, 2015. No late entries will be accepted.
• Artwork need to compliment the theme “100 Years, What a Ride” and must have the ability to be cleanly scanned and reproduced digitally at smaller and larger sizes.
• Drawn or sketched logo entries need to be dark and in-color on white paper or cardstock. No cardboard or canvas.
• The back of each entry must include the following information: full name, date, the fair theme, grade, teacher and school name.
• Artwork must be submitted on paper size no smaller than 8.5” x 11” but not to exceed 11” x 17”.

All logo contest submissions need to be at the UCF office by the April 10 deadline to be considered. Entries may be dropped off at the fair office located at 515 W. Orchard Avenue, mailed to PO Box 94, Hermiston OR 97838 or e-mailed to angie.mcnalley@umatillacounty.net
