Umatilla County Fire District #1 battled a barn fire Tuesday afternoon on S.W. Lemmon Lane.
Upon arrival, crews came across the barn fully engulfed in flames. Engine 21 went into a defensive strategy to protect the home. Crews successfully stopped the flames from spreading to nearby structures. Mutual aid was provided by Umatilla Rural Fire Protection District.
No injuries were reported.
