No injuries were reported in a pair of accidents that occurred Thursday morning in Hermiston.

At 10:49 a.m., Umatilla County Fire District #1 was dispatched to a motor vehicle accident on E. Punkin Center Road. Dispatch notified crews while enroute that the vehicle was flipped on its side and there was one occupant still inside the vehicle. Crews got on scene and utilized a Res-Q Jack to stabilize the vehicle. Crews then used extrication tools to cut the top roof off the vehicle, so the occupant could safely exit the car.

At 11:12 a.m., while still on the scene, the crews were dispatched to a second motor vehicle accident near the original incident on S. Cabana Road. Crews got on scene to find the occupant already out of the vehicle. No extrication was required, and the patient was checked out by ambulance crews.
