First aid and CPR training will be offered in Hermiston by Umatilla-Morrow Child Care Resource and Referral on June 28.
Certifications in First aid and CPR are required by the Child Care Division for individuals wanting to become a Registered Family Child Care Provider or for DHS-Listed Providers to be eligible for the DHS enhanced rate. Scholarships may be available for active DHS-Listed Providers and Registered/Certified Providers.
This class will teach how to perform CPR on infants, children, and adults. First aid topics include what to do until emergency medical help arrives. The class will be held on Saturday, June 28. The class begins at noon and ends at 7 p.m. The cost is $50. Pre-registration and pre-payment are required for this training, as only 12 spots are available for each session.
