Residents interested in serving on the Hermiston City Council have until Aug. 27 to file for the November election.
The council’s four at-large seats are up for election on Nov. 7.
The four at-large seats are currently held by Doug Primmer, Nancy Peterson, Rod Hardin and Maria Durón. Primmer will step down from the council at the end of the year after being elected mayor in the May primary.
Those who have filed so far include Durón, Jeff Keslo, Josh Roberts, Allen Hayward and Luz Martel.
Applications and qualification information can be obtained at Hermiston City Hall.
