Anderson died at Kadlec Medical Center. He served on the Hermiston City Council from 1997 to 2000. Anderson came to Hermiston with his wife, Joyce, in 1974 where he worked as a route salesman for Hostess/Wonder Bread before retiring in 1985. Prior to that, he worked for Frito Lay in Salem and Albertson’s grocery.
A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Burns Mortuary Chapel in Hermiston.
