LaNora Magnuson Passes Away at 75
LaNora E. Shockey Magnuson of Vale, former Hermiston resident, died on Nov. 18, 2017 in Vale at the age of 75.
She was born on April 15, 1942 in Boise, Idaho to Ray and Evelyn Murphy Shockey.
LaNora was raised and attended schools in Idaho. She was united in marriage to Marion “Richard” Magnuson, and they traveled back and forth between northern Idaho and the Hermiston-Umatilla area for many years. After Richard passed away, she lived in Wallowa County and later La Grande before moving to Vale, where she had lived for the last three years.
LaNora enjoyed horseback riding, crocheting, traveling, flowers, playing board games and games outside with her children.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Monday, Nov. 27, 2017 at 1 p.m. at the Hermiston Cemetery.
