A former Umatilla resident was shot and killed Saturday during a shootout with police in the city of Florence.
According to the Eugene Register-Guard, a shootout between Cameron Ollman and members of three law enforcement agencies resulted in Ollman’s death. Ollman, 37, formerly of Umatilla, was pursued by the Lane County Sheriff’s Office, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and the Florence Police Department.
Court records indicate Ollman was convicted of unlawful possession of a weapon and of being a felon in possession of a firearm while living in Umatilla in 2013.
