Frederick Prehm of Hermiston Passes Away

Frederick D. Prehm, 89, of Hermiston, died on Monday, Dec. 1, 2014 in Hermiston.

He was born on Dec. 25, 1924 in Winlock, Wash., to Dewey and Dora (West) Prehm. He was raised in Winlock and graduated from Winlock High School. He started work with Boeing and then worked for Safeway for 44 years.

He was a member of the Methodist church & Eagles Lodge #2909.

His hobbies included model airplanes, ships and fishing and hunting.

He is survived by a son, Robert Prehm of Fall Creek; daughters, Dorothy Beaudoin of Hermiston, and Bobbie Wilson of Pasco, Wash.; brother, James (Kathy) Prehm of Yakima, Wash.; and sister, Martha Steppe of Castle Rock, Wash.

At his request no services disposition was by cremation.
