A free six-week course on low-cost vegetable gardening is being offered beginning March 29.
The course, Seed to Supper, is a beginner’s course open to all adults, regardless of skill level, and comes with a free book. It is taught by Umatilla County Master Gardeners in partnership with Lovin’ Spadefuls Hermiston Community Garden and will include demonstrations.
Classes will be at Umatilla Electric Cooperative, 750 W Elm Ave. on Tuesdays from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., starting March 29 and ending May 3.
