A special seminar on how to avoid being the victim of a scam will be held on Wednesday, May 18 at the Hermiston Conference Center.
Oregon Attorney General Ellen Rosenblum will give a video presentation on how to avoid scams and stop fraud. There will be tips, advice and materials from state and local nonprofits as well as from law enforcement.
The free seminar takes place from 10 a.m. to noon.
